CT POL Consulting was founded in 2009 by Douglas Dyer MT (ASCP).  Doug is a clinical laboratory scientist with  thirty-six years of experience in the industry covering laboratories in the hospital, national reference, and large physician office settings.

He has extensive experience as the senior manager of a large physicians office laboratory (POL) and independent laboratory in central Connecticut where he has served on the company’s compliance committee for five years.  Previously he worked as a medical technologist as well as a serological purchaser at BBI Clinical Laboratories, a Boston Biomedica Company specializing in microbiology, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.

Doug's areas of expertise are in the management of POL operations, CLIA regulations, LIS & EMR interfaces.
